Seth Desautel and Peter Barrows Earn All-Conference Baseball Honors

Central Islip, NY-University of Bridgeport baseball players, senior Seth Desautel (Cumberland, RI) and freshman Peter Barrows (Old Saybrook, CT) have earned spots on the 2008 East Coast Conference Baseball All-Conference Teams.

Desautel, a third baseman, was honored with a Second Team All-ECC selection, and Barrows, who played both at first base and in the outfield for the Purple Knights this season, was named to the Third Team...

Three Softball Players Earn All-Conference Honors; Head Coach Valerie Steen Named ECC Coach of the Year

Central Islip, NY-Three members of the 2008 University of Bridgeport softball team that advanced to the semifinals of the this week's East Coast Conference Championship Tournament have been honored with All-Conference selections, and head coach Valerie Steen has been selected by her peers as this season's ECC Coach of the Year.
